#FlashbackFriday – Pauly D
So, let’s take a moment to appreciate Jersey Shore. Ok, so people don’t…I get it, however I’m addicted to watching my favourite guidos and guidettes getting into trouble and cavorting on the dance floor...and who doesn’t love the people’s favourite, Pauly D? The king of the blowout and arguably the most likable on the show, is known for his glittering DJ career and while we were in Vegas, he was DJ-ing at the Aria’s JEWEL nightclub, we had to see him.
I'd always wanted to go to an American nightclub having seen them in films and TV shows; obviously this was a glamorously exaggerated, Vegas version but it was so much fun, all high ceilings and glitzy drapes as well as private tables and a constant flow of drinks. We danced the night away, yes…even Robert... and had the best time listening to ‘your girl’s favourite DJ'. Walking back to our motel at 4am, in the uninterrupted Vegas heat we had a sense of triumph over our night…pizza in hand…fist pumps in memory.
